Parents View Federal Stimulus Funding for Education as an Opportunity for “Bold Changes”

The national survey revealed that parents support the influx of federal education funding allocated in the stimulus packages. At a time when 4 in 10 parents are “very concerned” about COVID learning loss, many parents see this as an opportunity to make “bold changes” in education policy. Parents also stressed the importance of transparency about how the money will be spent and how its impact on student performance will be calculated.

This survey was commissioned by the Walton Family Foundation and conducted by Beacon Research in partnership with Shaw and Company.
